All across Northern Europe, curious dodecahedral objects have been found at Roman archaeological sites. The original purpose of these intricate objects is not known.
In this project, I will attempt to make a replica dodecahedron - to see if I can work out what they can and cannot be used for.

Although modest in the scale of its end result, in concept, this may well be my most ambitious recycling project yet. This is an attempt to mould a new plastic handle for my favourite kitchen knife, using recycled plastics, without any of the proper injection moulding equipment.

This is a simple little oil lamp specially designed to burn fuels that are solid at room temperatures - such as leftover fats from cooking bacon, sausages, duck or other greasy foods.
It's made from pewter, using the lost wax casting method.
