Not very far from where I live, there's a place called Manor Farm Country Park - I go there every couple of weeks or so - sometimes to catch crabs at the jetty on the Hamble river, sometimes just for a pleasant walk in the woods, and sometimes to feed the ducks in the little pond by the old farm.
But just the other day, I learned something - only a very little thing really - but it just knocked me for six.
